Phoebe Watkins Obituary
Family-Placed Death Notice
Phoebe Alice Rose Watkins, age 58, of Fayetteville, Georgia passed away peacefully at her home Friday, August 18, 2006. She was a member of Fayetteville United Methodist Church. Alice was preceded in death by her mother, Phoebe Alice Trenholm Rose. She is survived by her husband, James Lewis Watkins, Jr., son, Matthew Coley Mahathey of Cumming, Georgia; stepchildren, Kimberly Gail Watkins of Cumming, Georgia, Jason Watkins of Albany, Georgia, Ashley Cecile Watkins of Atlanta, Georgia; father, Fred A. Rose of Knoxville, TN; sisters, Ann Rose Wheeler and husband David of Pikeville, TN, Gail Rose Beech and husband Bobby of Lewisburg, TN; aunt, Phyllis T. Rainwater of Dandridge, TN. Funeral service 2:00 P.M. Sunday, Fayetteville United Methodist Church with Rev. Mark Westmoreland, Rev. Larry Adams, and Rev. Ron Greer officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. Interment 11:00 A.M. Monday at Lynnhurst Cemetery, Knoxville, TN. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fayetteville UMC, Building Fund, 170 Lanier Avenue, Fayetteville, GA, 30214. Friends may call at their convenience at Carl J. Mowell and Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, GA.
