I grew up with Jimmy through grade and High School. I have so many fond memories of Jimmy, and so many fun times with him. We drifted apart after college, and for that I have been and still am sad. He was such an important part of my youth and maturing. Gloria, I was with you both when you got married. I always knew I had a friend for life, as did Jimmy. I am so sorry I never got to tell him how important his friendship was to me growing up. I will miss him greatly.

Dear Gloria, Paul, Brent, Shannon and family,
When I picture Jim, it is with a big smile on his face, and that is how we will all remember him. What a wonderful man he was! I know how important his family was to him, and how many wonderful memories you will have. I know he will be missed terribly by you and his many friends. Our deepest sympathy, prayers and love go to you all.

I will remember Jim as a kind, funny and thoughtful man. I respected his devotion to his lovely family, his commitment in his work life and his genuine joy when interacting with others. I will miss his voice, his laugh and his larger than life smile. Prayers for Gloria and the family.

What a wonderful and caring man. He will be greatly missed. I'm glad he passed away in his sleep and not suffering in any way. He was so friendly and kind to our family. When he spoke at church, his voice simply enhanced his words. We are so sorry for your loss. I know Mom and Dad admired and respected him as well and am sure they would want to express their condolences. We will keep the family in our prayers.

Jim was a friend and mentor to me. I will always be grateful to him for his guidance, coaching, and start in the industry. Over the years, I met his sweet wife Gloria and two sons Paul & Brent. He loved his family so deeply. And, we can't forget about his Georgia Tech! I have many memories of him always being the forever Tech fan in an office full of UGA grads! During football season, Jim would often roll up in his car to the office playing the GA Tech fight song. We planned many insurance industry events over the years together and Jim never left one detail out! He was a volunteer and gave back to the insurance industry serving as Past President of The Georgia 1752 Club which focuses on bringing young people into the insurance industry, helping Eagles Ranch, and fund raising for joint hospitality events at the PIA & IIA of Georgia.
He was super successful at everything that had the Jim Rippy name attached to it! He will be truly remembered and missed by the insurance community. Our deepest sympathy to the family!
