Gerald Tuchman Obituary
Family-Placed Death Notice
Gerald Tuchman, age 50, son of Ann C. Tuchman and the late Lester Tuchman, died peacefully surrounded by family and friends on May 31, 2003. Jerry was a sales associate with Saks Fifth Avenue in Atlanta, GA for eighteen years. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sister, Laurie B. Dawson of Gathersburg, MD; and brothers, Gary of New York, NY, Allan of Walkersville, MD and Raymond of Bethesda, MD. He is also survived by eight nieces and nephews. According to his wishes, there will be no service following cremation, donations in lieu of flowers may be made in his name to Haven House Hospice, 5411 Northland Avenue, Atlanta, GA 30342. Gerry and I first met at I. Magnin in Bethesda MD, where we both worked, over 20 years ago. We became fast friends. I will always remember his funny, witty and off the wall sense of humor. I will miss him.

Sak's will never be the same without Gerry upstairs. I always had to stop by and say hello to him because there was something special about him - he cared about what was going on with his clients, he was warm, sincere, funny and upbeat. I adored him and he will be missed by many. My thoughts and prayers are with all his family and friends.
