dear ann: I only recently heard about Bill's passing...quite honestly I was deeply taken aback. Please accept our deepest condoleances and wishes. On his last visit to CWG's in Woodlands, I remember saying to my wife, "how striking a figure he was." I am thinking of you and yours....I hope we might see eachother in Eleuthera again.
warmest regards

So many good men passing on and bringing up so many good memories and particularly of my old friend Bill. My heartfelt condolences to Dick and Ann whom I know and to all of the deButts family whom I don't. Bill deButts was a very good man, and I am very fortunate to have known him.

Bill was a great guy.....a good friend...someone we all looked up to as a special person who could be counted on when you needed him. We all are a little better for having known Bill. While we all will miss him, it gives us peace knowing that he is at last at rest and in a good place, and reunited with old friends like Ven Minor.
