Robert DeButts Obituary
Robert was born on May 25, 1977, in Wiesbaden, Germany to Merland C. DeButts and Judyann (Harriman) DeButts.
Robert graduated from Spaulding High School where he also completed the Richard Creteau Machine Tool Trades program. He went on to graduate from the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard Tracks Apprenticeship. Robert was the Shop 17 2nd shift supervisor at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard where he worked for the past 19 years.
Robert enjoyed working on vehicles; especially making them louder. He also liked spending time with family and friends, bowling, and going out to eat where he'd always meet someone new to talk to.
Robert was predeceased by his mother, his father, and his brother Rodney DeButts.
Robert is survived by the love of his life, Crystal A. Galloway, his sister Kimberly A. Davis, her husband Bob W. Davis, his nephew Samuel A. Davis, his niece Isabella M. Davis, and family members Linda Galloway and Jennifer Galloway.
Robert's services:
A memorial visitation will be held from 5-7 PM on Monday December 11, 2023 at Tasker Funeral Home, 621 Central Ave., Dover, NH. A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Tuesday December 12, 2023 at Tasker Funeral Home. Burial to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, 43 Dover Point Rd., Dover, NH.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to National Suicide Prevention. For online condolences visit: www.taskerfuneralservice.com.
Arrangements are under the direction and care of the Tasker Funeral Home, Dover, NH.

Robb was a great great person. He was grumpy now and then but he was always someone I could goto to if I needed help with anything. I will miss sitting a chatting with him at the yard.
