The following was prepared by members of the Pen Women group to which Carolyn belonged. It will appear on the NLAPW website:
Carolyn was a wonderful artist, a thoughtful friend, and a mentor to many younger artists. She usually brought guests to our monthly meetings and sponsored them when they decided to join the Atlanta Branch of the National League of American Pen Women. Her positive attitude was contagious, and her love of art and creating never diminished. We miss her company and her companionship. She was a fashionable, independent, cheerful woman. Her lovely smile and her generous spirit truly graced our Branch.
