I am so sorry to his miss the great homegoing of my Pastor from my youth. I was raised under Pastor Greer when he uses to bring traveling minister and his boys were my age and his lovely i went to Sunday school where I met the Holy Spirit, I speak of this Great God-fearing man in my Novel as a teacher father family man and lastly my brother in the Lord. rest sir one day we will meet again on the shores of the Lord. Good night, sir, good night and farewell my sweet Father in the Lord. and just to recall I was a part of the first night the church met under the tent. I turned 18 years old that would be the first time I felt the power of the Holy Ghost because God moved with that man, he loved God.

As a child I was baptized and member of Pentecostal Tabernacle in Nashville TN. He was a great speaker, teacher and leader. He will be missed. My sympathy goes out to his family.

Sylvia and Sophia and the rest of the family, you are in my prayers. I will always remember Bishop Greer as my second father in the gospel. I got saved when I was 10 but I was baptized in the Holy Ghost under Bishop Greer when I was 17. Not only was he my Pastor at Pentecostal Tabernacle in Nashville but a father figure. He also gave me many opportunities to do "ministry" helping to coordinate the Feeding of the Multitude and holiday basket giveaways.
Thank God for the legacy of Bishop Jonathan Greer.

I have fond memories of Dr. Greer and the Cathedral of Faith famaily. There was truly nothing like the Sunday evening one night revival or those summer tent revivals. He, the Church, and the Showers of Blessings Gospel Choir left an indelible mark on my life. Prayers and blessings for the family.

Resting with our Lord and Savior, we honor the life of Bishop Jonathan Greer II. With the heart of God, Bishop Greer was a shepherd to many, guiding us all to the truth. Our prayers are with Sylvia and her family, Sophia, relatives and church members. My memory of Bishop Greer is that of a gentle spirit moving throughout the earth spreading the truth; this truth is Jesus Christ.
