Becky I'm so sorry for you loss. From the 1st time I was introduced to Dr. Smith, back when I work for Stereo City I knew he was a good man. Through out all the year when I would see the two of you I really enjoyed our conversations. I remember Dr Smith talking to me about health issues I had. He always came over that he really care for the people around him. That made me feel really good to see that side of him. He will be missed. I will have you in my prayers.

Dr. Randy Smith is the BEST. I will never forget how he stitched by son's head with 12 stitches in the parking lot of University Hospital emergency room keeping us both calm by all means with my son's head between by knees. We still and just recently laugh about those memories last week. I will always remember his beautiful smile no matter of his long day when he walked in Health Central on 13th street every day. Becky Jo, be strong as he would want you to be. I remember when he first met you and told me "Rose, Becky Jo is the love of my life". I will cherish those memories FOREVER.
Rest in peace Dr. Smith. Your helping hand has left lasting memories that will last a life time

Randy was my classmate throughout elementary and high school. The great times that we had in Skeeter Griffin's Physics class will be remembered always. I was the only female in a classroom of big strapping football players and Mr. Griffin had a nickname for all of us!! So much fun!
Randy was not only a star on the athletic field, he was an intellectual star also. He will be missed by all in the class of '62 and remembered by all of his classmates.
May God bless the family and comfort and keep you in this sad, sad time. Randy was a blessing to so many!

Randy Smith was one of my best friends and classmates at MCG. Although I only attended one year we stayed in touch over the years. Every time I saw him he made me feel so special. That was one of his many gifts. He would address me Walter Vivian Worsham, III and I would reply Randolph Relihan Smith. His obituary says it all. A giant in his profession he will be missed by so many. My heartfelt sympathies go out to Becky, the kids and grandkids, his colleagues and the legions of institutions and lives he touched during an exemplary life of service.
