Thomas McKenna Obituary
of Peoria AZ passed away comfortably at home on 6/28/2010. Born in Elizabeth NJ, Tom proudly served in the US Navy. Lifelong career in telecommunications & IT. Retired from CVS-Caremark in 2009. Survived by his wife, Patricia Asta; brother Walter (Caroline) McKenna; sisters Kathy (Bob) Zipkas, Joan Spano & Patti Kennedy; children Cindy & Tommy McKenna; mother-in-law Rita Benson. He was predeceased by his sister, Janice Jarosiewicz. Memorial Celebration 1pm on July 17 at Hansen Desert Hills Chapel, Scottsdale. Donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.

Tom was one of the dearest gentlemen that I have known. I worked with him for many years at PCS Health Systems/CVS Caremark and everytime that he stepped into my cube he always had a grin and I knew I was going to receive a masterfully constructed joke or good story. He had a way of making everyone feel so comfortable and took great pride in making everyone smile or just have a better day by being around him. It is a pleasure to have known a man with such depth and character. Wonderful memories Mr. McKenna - you will be missed and thought of often.

Tom was a one in a million guy! He was so sharp and had a terrific sense of humor. He kept all of us at Caremark laughing and in good spirits. He was a remarkable story teller and no matter what he was doing, he could relay a good story about it. I've missed him since his retirement and will continue to remember our chats with very fond memories. The entire McKenna family is in my thoughts and prayers.

I was so saddened to hear of Tom's passing. I worked with Tom for many, many years at Caremark. He was such a great guy. We all loved his jokes. He will be missed. My thoughts are with his family during this difficult time.
