My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. We grew up in the neighborhood during our elementary school days.I went to visit a friend one summer in St.Pete. He answered the door. We looked at each other for a moment. We had not seen each other after 16 St.Jr high.
Sitting there talking to Ivetta he seem withdrawn. When I was leaving, I said to Fred, God is Great and trust God at all times .

Fred was good person and classmate attending 16th Street and Gibbs as a popular football player. He will be sadly missed from all of The Progressive Class of 1973. My prayers of strength and comfort to the family. Weeping may endure for a night, but JOY comes in the morning.

It saddens me that we have lost such a kind-hearted person as Fred. He was a genuine person and I have fond memories of him during 16th Street and Gibbs High. May God strengthen his family and friends during this difficult time.

To the Family,
Weeeping may endure for a night but joy truly cometh in the morning.I had the great pleasure of enjoying Christmas dinner with Fred while visiting my son and daughter this past Holiday Season, not knowing it would be the last time seeing my friend.I will cherish that fellowship for many years to come. This book cannot contain the thoughts I wish to share about my friendship with "Fast Freddie".It will suffice to say that I loved him like a brother and I know he accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and that I will see him again. May God bless you and keep you!

Fred and I grew up together here in St Petersburg, Florida. We played little league sports from 3rd grade throughout high school. We were both awarded football scholarships at Arizona State University to play football under Coach Frank Kush. I left after my freshman year, transferring to UNLV. We continued to stay in touch even up to one week before his death. Rest in Peace, my brother. Our deepest sympathy to the family, he will be missed.
Sincerely,
Darall & Regina Moore & DJ, Nisha, & Metri.

It saddens me deeply that Fred is gone. He was my brother-in-law and friend. We never had an argument, or uttered a mean word to each other. He was generous, and kindhearted. I will miss him.

Fred and I grew up together in St. Pete. we played little league football and baseball together. I had the pleasure of blocking for Fred and Darrell Moore in high school, and I used to joke and tell them I made them famous. I believe Fred actually was my only teammate who made it to the professional ranks. Fred was truly a gifted athlete and a true friend. We all will miss him very much.
