35, of Cottonwood passed away on February 4, 2011. Renowned tattoo artist Lee Hanna left this life with far less color in it. His graphic talents were undeniable at a young age, having been encouraged to pursue a career in art Lee opted to chase his love of ink and tattoos. He found he excelled; and was able to accomplish his dream by opening Dixie Rose Tattoo in Reno, Nevada. Lee drew national accolades from the industry having inked professional athletes to musicians, and celebrities. He was sought after for national TV shows & his artwork commanded staggering prices; yet his essense remained that of a humble man. He was a beautiful & gentle spirit, who loved unconditionally. Lee was a devoted father whose tender heart & compassion were infectious. The unparalleled loyalty he invested in his dogs; displayed the measure of his character. Lee's subtle nature & quick wit was never lost on his friends who stood witness to the depth of his integrity. He leaves behind wife Poppy of 12 years, 2 daughters Dixie 7 & Freya 18 months. Although his brilliant work as a tattoo artist are etched on the bodies of individuals worldwide; the loss of our Bubby will be etched on the hearts of his family & friend's forever.
