Stanley Lund Obituary
Stan T. Lund, 54, Founder of Lund Mortgage, Inc. died peacefully in his sleep on Saturday Morning, 26th of April. He was the second of five sons born to Richard and Sara Lund and was born in Kenitra, Morocco, North Africa. Stan is survived by his Dad Richard, his wife June, daughters Lisa and Saranne, Step-daughter Melissa, his brothers, Mike, Tim, John, Steve, and grandchildren, Tyler, Bria and Lauryn. He joins his mother Sara who previously went to be with the Lord. Stan T. Graduated from Poway High in California. Stan and June were active in his church and in charge of the youth ministry and were raising money for kids to go to Church camp. Stan loved the children and he loved the Lord. In lieu of flowers please donate to the camp fund we have set up at Wells Fargo for the benefit of White Tanks So. Baptist Church, Youth Camp Fund. Viewing will be at Heritage Funeral Chapel 6830 W. Thunderbird Rd., Peoria from 6-8 pm on Friday May 2, 2014. Funeral Services will be at Northwest Valley Baptist Church 4030 W Yorkshire Dr, Glendale, AZ 85308, Saturday May 3rd at 9:30am.

Stan T ! My African American brother I just I just found out God called you home. Its been years since we worked together, I remember your trillion dollar smile and the fun we had, how you were such a big help to me and so many. I love you man. I'm sad I was not able to say good bye. But so happy you knew and loved the Lord! I plan on seeing you again soon in heaven and we can laugh like we used to. June, I am so sorry for your loss of Stanley T. Lund. I am new to White Tanks Southern Baptist Church and have already heard a couple stories about your wonderful husband. Stan, My heart aches for you. I miss you but I know that you are with God in Heaven and I know that I will see you again one day. And that will truly be a joyous day. I wanted everyone to know the man that Stan was. He was loving, kind and always thinking about others. He loved children and loved our church. He had a passion for the lost and especially for the children to learn that Jesus was the light of our true peace and salvation. Stan always spoke of the fruits of the spirit and always wanted those around him to know them and live them because that was true peace. I can't think of any better way to show your love for someone. Stan was the best husband anyone could want, he loved, he gave me the support I needed and was always there unconditionally. I miss my love and best friend but I know that he is dancing in Heaven. Stan could not wait to meet Jesus face to face, we talked about that often. As I look back at the last few months on his life, I see how blessed I was for having such a special person, Given by God to share for a while. I love you Stanley T., you are in my heart forever. Your loving wife, June T. Lund....stan always gave everyone his middle initial. Just made me smile thinking of him. He loved, he did not care what people thought about him, his heart was always in the right place and people loved him. He left big shoes to fill but in this all I see the Glory to God, as that is what he would want is for all of us to turn our lives over to Jesus Christ. I love you more.

Stan was a great mortgage specialist and a super nice and friendly family man. He was so professional and will be missed. I could not believe the news of his passing and was very sad to see such a nice man taken at a young age. A customer.

Stan was a true man of God and loved The Lord with all his heart. He had the unique ability to touch the lives of people around him and make you all feel like you were his best friend. It's been probably a year since we last spent time with Stan but we always had the feeling he was just a phone call away if we needed him. Jeanne and I miss him tremendously already knowing we have to wait to see him in Heaven again but what a comforting thought!
