James Weir Obituary
passed away unexpectedly on September 15, 2014; due to medical complications after surgery. He was born April 10, 1934 in Buffalo, New York to Mildred and William Irving Weir. He served his country in the US Army from 1955 to 1958. In 1978, he moved to Arizona and worked as machinist in the aerospace industry until his retirement in 1998. James was an avid lover of the outdoors especially fishing, hunting and camping. James is survived by his sister. Jeanette Zaenglein, daughters Debora (Lawrence) Bartlett and Linda Weir, Ex Wife Mary, 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. James is preceded in death by both his sons James Roland Weir Jr. and David William Weir. Services will be held 10 am Wednesday Sept. 24, 2014 at Hansen Chapel, 8314 N 7th Street, Phoenix, AZ 85020. Interment and Military Honors will be immediately following at 11:30am at the Arizona National Memorial Cemetery 23029 N Cave Creek Rd, Phoenix, AZ, 85024.
