Jack Avila Obituary
63, of Glendale, Arizona passed away on June 2nd, 2015, DOB July 12th, 1951. He left this world in comfort surrounded by his family to be with the Lord. Jack worked many years at Encanto Park Boating and Kiddie Land and then the last twenty and a half years at Costco. He leaves behind his wife of 46 years Kathy, son Thomas (Bertha), daughter Barbara (Ramiro), grandchildren Ramiro (Janice), Sabrina, great-grandchildren Ramiro and Michael. He was a great man who impacted a lot of lives and was loved by many. Services will be held at First Baptist Church Of Scottsdale 7025 E. Osborn Rd. on Saturday June 13th, 2015 at 11:00 AM. He will always have a special place in our hearts. We love you Poppa Jack.

Wish I could be there Sat.6/13 to join in celebrating the life & love of one of the most enjoyable people you can ever hope to know. I'm happy to have had that chance, and sad to know I won't see his always caring & loving self, anymore. Yet his presence seems to be ever here, certainly in our memories, personal as well as in our shared collective
remembrances. May he always shine as the best example a human being can be...kind, humble, engaging & loving.

If you were lucky to know him, then you know what a great man he was and that he'd do anything for you. Thanks for always taking me along everywhere with you and Kathy, when I was a kid...Barbara and Tommy are like my siblings and you were more than a brother-in-law to me. Thanks for giving me my first job, selling soda from an ice chest at the boat dock and for always playing great music (waking us up to Donna Summer blaring throughout the house) and introducing me to the music of Prince (you knew long before a lot of people, that he'd be huge). You were one of a kind and I, along with so many others, miss and love you. Until I see you again...rest in peace, Jack.
