H. Winter Obituary
H. Allen Winter passed away peacefully on June 13, 2016 at his home in Scottsdale. Born in 1934, he was a devoted husband and wonderful father, grandfather and friend, and he will be missed by all whom he touched. He was raised in Roseberg, OR, and served his country honorably in the United States Army. After his Army service, Allan earned his bachelor degree from the University of Oregon and embarked on a long and successful career in business, ultimately settling in Phoenix. Allan's life was devoted to serving others, especially youth through coaching and mentoring. He is survived by Frances, his wife of 54 years, sons Kirk and Matt, daughter-in-law Julia, and grandsons Will and Mac. Memorial services are June 23, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Valley Presbyterian Church, 6947 E. Mcdonald Dr., Paradise Valley.
