On May 1, 2015, Miriam Foss (nee Lipnick); devoted wife of Forrest Foss; cherished mother of Gilad Foss, Rabbi Ilana Foss, Yael Foss, and Ariella Foss; beloved daughter of the late Rabbi Jerome and Joan Lipnick; loving sister of Robert (Barbara) Lipnick, and Rabbi Jonathan Lipnick (Susan Scheuer); cherished aunt and dear friend of many. Services at SOL LEVINSON & BROS., INC., 8900 Reisterstown Road, at Mount Wilson Lane on Monday, May 4, at 11 am. Interment Garrison Forest Cemetery of Chizuk Amuno Cong. Owings Mills. Please omit flowers. Contributions in her memory may be sent to the charity of your choice. In mourning at 2429 Everton Road, Baltimore, MD 21209.

Dearest Forrest, this is Andy Schiff from Merkaz Klita Gilo. I just learned of Miriam's death and even though it has been years I have always remembered her with love and joy at having your little family as the impetus for ours. With much love Andy and Steve Schiff.

It was my great honor and privilege to know Miriam during her time as a volunteer at Baltimore's Ronald McDonald House. Her kindness and warmth and friendship are treasured memories. She was a wonderful person. I am so very sorry for your loss.

We are thinking of all of Mimsi's family at this time and send our heartfelt sympathy to all of you. While we are so very sad to learn of Mimsi's untimely passing, we find ourselves thinking also of the wonderful times we had at the Lipnick home in Bethesda.
