Arthur's Obituaries

Arthur David Guilin, age 60, of Bullhead City, Arizona, passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

A life well lived, Arthur was born on February 8, 1964 in Blythe, California to the late Pete and Mary Helen Guilin. He graduated Palo Verde Valley High School in 1982.

Arthur was a devoted father to Daniel, Brandon, Kimberly, Dillon, and Calvin Guilin, and surrogate stepfather to Michael Carlton. His greatest joy came from being a TaTa to his beloved grandchildren: Leila, Jayden, Viviana, Serenity, Braxton, Ashton, Cheylyn, Jessielyn, and Kohan.

A kind soul with a sense of humor, Arthur was known for his kindness, passion, and sense of humor. He enjoyed watching his favorite shows, including Charmed, Hell's Kitchen, and House, as well as staying informed by watching CNN. Arthur loved Rock Music, with bands like Korn and Ozzy Osbourne being among his favorites. His love for music even led him to hitchhike home from a concert! A culinary artist and family man, Arthur was a talented cook, creating meals for all the family gatherings that brought so much pleasure to everyone. The time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren, brought him immense happiness. From cooking meals to attending soccer games. Arthur was actively involved in their lives, creating cherished memories that will live on forever.

Arthur was preceded in death by his brother, Peter Guilin.

He is survived by his children; grandchildren; sisters, Marsha Guilin White, Tricia Guilin Mark, and Vivian Guilin Speeney.

He will be dearly missed by all that knew him.

Services for Arthur will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 28, 2024 at Frye Chapel, 633 N Seventh Street, Blythe California, followed by a gathering at 12:00 p.m. at the VFW, 148 N First Street, Blythe, California.Arthur David Guilin will be remembered for his love, and dedication to his family. May he rest in peace.
