Carol Ann Phipps (nee Parrott), age 82, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2026. She was born on July 26, 1943, in Cohutta, Georgia, to the late Wahlice and Garvin Parrott.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved brothers, John and Roger; and many cherished aunts, uncles, and cousins who held a special place in her heart. Carol is survived by her sons Ken and Kelly Phipps. She is also survived by Kelly’s wife, and Carol’s special caretaker, Julie Phipps, and her pride and joy grandsons, Jesse and Joey Phipps.
After marrying her high school sweetheart, Allen Phipps, Allen & Carol moved to Sharonville, Ohio, where they built their life together. They were very involved in the Sharonville community and youth sports. Carol dedicated many years of service working for the local Carpenters Union, where she was known for her strong work ethic, and the friendships she built along the way.
Above all, Carol was devoted to her family. She was a loving mother to her two sons, Ken and Kelly, and took great pride in raising them. But she was even more proud of her grandsons, Jesse and Joey. Carol retired from the Carpenter’s Union office to take care of them, right after Joey was born. She had an extremely deep and loving connection with Jesse and Joey, and they were a source of great pride for Carol.
Carol was known for her strength, kindness, and quiet generosity. She enjoyed spending time with family, sharing stories, and creating memories with those she loved. Carol loved baking and cooking, and was especially famous among family & friends for the best chocolate chip and oatmeal cookies anyone had ever tasted.
Carol will be remembered for her warm heart, resilience, and the love she gave so freely to those around her. She leaves behind a legacy of devotion to family and friendship that will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family and friends.
