Not sure what to say?

I have never met Chloe but my mother was my Aunt Sue’s sister and I knew Jane’s boys as a youngster. We are so deeply saddened for your horrific loss and know that god is embracing each and everyone of you. Please know that you all are in our prayers from Southern California and Nevada. We love you! Lisa Cribbs and family.

Luke,
Words can't describe what Laurie and I are feeling. You are in our prayers. Hang in there.
Jim and Laurie Brannigan

Although we did not know Chloe, our son Jake was in the MC Aviation Maintenance program with her. He told us she was so smart and always willing to help him and other students. We are grateful he knew her and that he shared this with us. Our thoughts and prayers are with y'all.

We met Chloe years ago at The Hemingway and immediately knew that she was special. Such a warm, vibrant, bubbly soul. If you ever met Chloe, you never forgot her! Our hearts go out to Luke, and all of their families. The loss of this young lady is going to leave a big hole many, many hearts. May peace come to you all.

Penny and girls, I'm so incredibly sorry for your loss. My heart aches for you all. Praying for God's peace to settle your hearts and for strength to endure the difficult days.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

Our hearts are broken for each of you. What a genuine and special soul. Chloe was a wonderful gift to her family and to the world. She was the true definition of what each of us should strive to be. We love you all.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief. Penny and girls
Brad and Cynthia so sorry for your loss

Chloe's Obituary

Chloe Mason Whitehead passed away on Saturday August 16, 2025. She was born on February 12, 1992 to Brad & Penny Mason. She was the baby of the “Mason Girls”

Chloe met her soulmate Luke Whitehead in the spring of 2012 and never spent another moment apart. They were two kindred spirits who had the good fortune of finding each other in Midland Texas. Luke absolutely adored the free spirited girl who was unapologetically unique. He was the yin to her yang. They surprised their families with a photo text of themselves in front of Elvis at the Little Neon Chapel in Las Vegas on February 13, 2017. Chloe was the first girl in the Whitehead family of all boys and they embraced and loved her as their own. Chloe and Luke loved to spend time traveling to all places near and far. Be it by bicycle or by plane, they had no limits to their sense of adventure.

In 2021 Chloe began the welding program at Midland College and completed that two year course before taking on her dream of becoming an Aviation Maintenance Technician. She worked diligently and secured a job with Floris Flight Services in Midland Texas while she completed her studies. In May 2025 she received her FAA A&P License and was hired full time with Floris.

Chloe had worked for years in Midland at the Hemingway Wine & Cigar Bar and made a multitude of friends. She loved welding with her dad and honing her skills. Chloe loved to come home and cook with her Moma and watch scary movies. The sisters had such a special bond and would laugh for hours on end dancing in the kitchen and singing to music they loved. Chloe loved the time she spent hanging out golfing and biking with her Whitehead family. She adored her nephews and nieces and loved spending time laughing and being the star of family get togethers. Chloe always had such a unique style and that continued from a little girl who would only wear dresses, to adulthood. She was as comfortable in jeans and flannel with a welding mask as she was in  a beautiful dress with heels. She was one of a kind and we will never fill the void of her loss.

Chloe is survived by her husband Luke Whitehead, her Moma Penny Mason, her dad Brad Mason and his wife Cynthia, her sisters; Jessica Adams & Adrian, Xane Reiter & Danny, Madison Furr & Cody. She had 5 nephews and nieces from her sisters; Ben Furr, Ruby Adams, Samuel & Ava Reiter and Jack Furr. Her Mother & Father in law John and Marci Whitehead, Luke’s three brothers; Andy, Matt and Peter & Brittni Whitehead and her nieces and nephew Eleanor Whitehead, Rhys Whitehead and Leona Whitehead. She is also survived by her paternal grandmother, Mim,  Jane Mason. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Ted & Marilyn Williams and her paternal grandfather Lewis Mason.

A Celebration of Chloe’s life will be held at the Post Community Center at 2:00 pm on Saturday August 23, 2025. .  We welcome all family and friends to come join us by viewing videos and photos and just sharing memories of our beautiful baby girl and Luke’s “Babe”.

A scholarship fund in Chloe’s name for the Aviation Maintenance Program at Midland College would be appreciated in lieu of flowers. Chloe would be so honored to see another young person fulfill the same dream. A special account has been set up at Peoples Bank in Post Texas to fund the scholarship.
