Daniel C. Daugherity

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of such a special person...Dan used to come to streator with his daughter and her family and visit my mother. Marianne Daugherity Kettman who passed away on September 3rd.. She was about the last of her generation in our family, so we had some really good conversations...rest in peace Dan say hello to my mom in heaven❤.

May Dan rest well. We worked together as he was building WPXN as well as our sharing memories of growing up in Streator. Dan was an intelligent, kind and professional broadcaster. Warm regards to his family.

My heartfelt condolences to Dan’s family. I will cherish our interactions together especially during Illini games, talking sports and his sharing of family memories. I’ve always admired his strong devotion to family, faith, and profession. I wish I could be there at the services to say goodbye. Rest easy Dan.

So sorry for your loss. Such a great man. I’ll always think of Dan whenever I watch the Illini. I know how passionate he was for them and I’m lucky to have shared some of those experiences with him.
