Not sure what to say?

May Dan rest well. We worked together as he was building WPXN as well as our sharing memories of growing up in Streator. Dan was an intelligent, kind and professional broadcaster. Warm regards to his family.

My heartfelt condolences to Dan’s family. I will cherish our interactions together especially during Illini games, talking sports and his sharing of family memories. I’ve always admired his strong devotion to family, faith, and profession. I wish I could be there at the services to say goodbye. Rest easy Dan.

He was a kind man. Always had a smile and a kind word and most important a WONDERFUL father to his children who loved him dearly

I'm so sorry for your loss. Dan was one of a kind, definitely cherished by his family and those that knew him. Sending prayers to all of the family.

So sorry for your loss. Such a great man. I’ll always think of Dan whenever I watch the Illini. I know how passionate he was for them and I’m lucky to have shared some of those experiences with him.

We are so sorry for your loss.. Dan was a very kind man. He will be missed.
