Miss Pohlod was my speech teacher at Madeira beach from 1995-2001. Having an speech impediment as a kid made me feel weird but she reassured that it was nothing bad and that we would fix it. When my mom passed away in January 2000, she was very supportive during my time of need. I’d like to take this opportunity to say, Thank you. Thank you for not only helping me but helping many others. May you rest in peace.

Miss Pohlod was my speech teacher from 2005 to 2009. To say she touched my life would be an understatement. She was one of the kindest people I have ever known. I can´t explain in words how incredible this woman was and how much she cared for her students, she was truly an angel here on earth. I knew Debbie since we were little kids. Playing house on each others porches, curling swim towels on our heads as hair. Debbie, Bonnie and I grew up together in Summit Hill, there are so so many memories we shared. Even though we grew up and went our separate ways when we saw each otpher it was like we never left. I will miss talking to her on her porch Memorial Day. I know she is in a better place my memories are something I will hold of her in my heart.
