Emmett was a great friend and companion during our years growing up in McArthur. Many a day during the summer we would go down to Brown's Pond with a can of worms and our fishing rods to spend the afternoon in the sun and fishing. Once we even ventured to the pond during the winter to ice skate with me borrowing one of his sisters skates. Emmett will always remain a legend in the Ohio forest products industry for the many positive impacts he has made for The Ohio Forestry Association, his community, and the local economy in Southern Ohio. My condolences to his family in the passing of this great man.
