Gary's Obituary

Gary Wayne Daniels, a longtime resident of Reading, Ohio, passed away on the morning of Sunday, August 17, 2025 at the age 78. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Jason and Sarah (Gabbard) Daniels. 

Cherished husband of 48 years to his wife, Emma (Arnett) Daniels; father of Brad (Tina) Daniels and Kevin (Hannah) Daniels; brother of Hazel (the late Norbert) Blomer; grandfather of Bradley (Ashley), Jacob, Taylor, Samantha and Norah “Crazy Legs” Daniels; great grandfather of Harper “Big Red” Daniels. He also leaves behind his son, Curt, and daughter, Patty, from his previous marriage, along with a host of extended family, dear friends, and his dog, Barney. 

Gary was an a Master Mason with the Kilwinning Lodge #356. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and “tinkering” in his garage. Above all, Gary appreciated time with his family and entertaining his grandchildren. We will miss his jokes and nicknames and we have been blessed by his loving heart and charisma. 

Visitation will be from 9:30 am until the time of service at 11 am Thursday, August 21st at Mihovk-Rosenacker Funeral Home, 10211 Plainfield Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45241. Interment will follow onsite at Rest Haven Memorial Park. A reception will be held for family and friends in the Community Room at the funeral home until 2:30 pm.
