A great person who I enjoyed working with and he taught me so much.

Loved to listen to his panio playing he had so much talent.

He was a really talented cook and to be fed by Jim was something special.

BUT MOST OF ALL I feel so lucky having known and worked with him, a really great person and I like to think that I am a better person for knowing him.

James 's Obituary

James P. Milkeris, 69, of Crest Hill, passed away May 18, 2013. Employed by Electro Motive, LaGrange, for 38 years. He was a world traveler. Jim was a musician in a wedding band for 30 years, he loved sports, especially the Bears and White Sox. He loved to cook, was the life of the party, a great entertainer and storyteller. Most of all, he loved his wife, children and grandchildren. Beloved husband of Betty, nee Sanicki; loving father of Gary (Jennifer) and Carly (Peder); adored grandfather of Connor and Evan; cherished brother of Rich (Jean) and Dave (Sherry); and fond uncle of several nieces and nephews. Funeral services Saturday, May 25, 2013, 10 a.m. at the Markiewicz Funeral Home, P.C. 108 Illinois St. Lemont. Interment Fairmount Willow Hills Memorial Park. Visitation Friday 3 – 8 p.m.
