Joel- Ive known you for at least 30 years, first thru Rick, and then when I worked at Troop E and Fleet- for the CSP- you were always my go to guy for most everything the troops needed. You were one of the most reliable CSP personnel there and I know they missed you when you retired. You were there for all of them and that was a tall order but you filled it every single time. My fondest moments were of you at the yearly golf tournament with Ryan- mostly- along with some trips to VT-

Joel and Dierdre your kindness to our family when we first moved to Middletown from NJ will always be appreciated. Being the new out of state family moving here was a tough move but was made easier by having your giving heart's to welcome us into your lives. For our sons to share adventures as best friends for their younger years will always hold a special spot for me. Joel and memories of his good and helpful nature will be missed and we are very sad for his loss. Our condolences, love and...

Joel was always the best when it came to getting you what you needed. From my first dealings with him at Troop L, through specialized units and finally to the Colonel's Office, Joel was always a helping hand and a friend to clerical personnel and troopers alike. He has been missed at CSP and will be missed by those he leaves behind. Sincere condolences to Joel's family and close friends.
