It is so hard to believe that it has been a year since you left us. You are missed big brother.

John's Obituary

Mr. John M. Garland, age 67, passed away Monday, March 7, 2016 at the Vibra Hospital in Springfield, MA. He was born in St. Albans, May 21, 1948, son of the late John and Betty (Gosselin) Garland. John Served his country during the Vietnam War in the U.S. Army. He worked as a truck driver for United Van Lines, and later for the Town of Wilbraham Public Works Department. John was a member of the Monson Fire Department, The Monson Bellmen, and a past member of the St. Albans City Fire Department. John is survived by his sister Sandra Cimorelli of Hoosick Falls, NY, his brother Brian Garland and his wife Beth of Georgia, VT, a sister-in-law Lorraine Garland of San Antonio, TX, a brother-in-law Michael Raine of North Agusta, NC, several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, John was predeceased by his sister Susan Raine, and his brothers Michael and John Paul Garland.A Celebration of John's Life will be held Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. in the Brady & Levesque Funeral Chapel 86 South Main St., St. Albans. Interment will be held later this spring in the Garland family lot in Greenwood Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to his family at the funeral home website: www.bradyandlevesque.com.
