The history of the Planes family is such an incredible story, and I am truly honored to have shared even a small part of it. Mr. Planes was always warm and welcoming to me throughout my long tenure — from my early years as a young man to where I am today. He genuinely cared about how I was doing, especially during difficult times my family and I experienced, showing a level of compassion that was both rare and deeply meaningful. His confidence in me never wavered, and his support throughout...

Rest in peace my fellow 67 Cavalier. You are a kind and generous man, John. We are all better off for
having you as a friend.

I’m incredibly grateful to Johnny and the entire Planes family for giving me the opportunity to join their team. Johnny was a truly generous and kind man, and even though I was new to the Planes team, he always treated me as if I had been part of it for years. His presence, warmth, and leadership will be deeply missed.

Deb and I offer our deepest sympathies on the passing of such a wonderful man and business leader, devoted husband, and loving father and grandfather. Working for Planes M&S for fourteen years was a real joy for me and a big part of that was of course working with John. It was a pleasure being on his management team and I am forever in his debt for the opportunity Johnny and John gave me at Planes. He will be sorely missed by all but the memories we shared will not be forgotten.
