Was so surprised to hear of Joe’s passing. Had been looking forward to seeing him at last week’s Duquesne/Sheik reunion. We were in the same pharmacy class together. I will always remember Joe doing his “funky chicken/funky turkey “ imitations at the Sheik parties to the enjoyment of the entire crowd gathered around him and clapping.

I am so sorry to hear of Joe´s passing. Although I did not know Joe well, our mothers, Gloria and Dolores, were the best of friends, and I often heard of his successes through them. Sending deepest condolences from my family to yours.

I am so sorry to hear of Joe’s passing. He was a great man and a good golfing buddy on the annual Shenvale golf trips we took. God’s blessings on him and his family at this time.

It was my good fortune that Joe was one of the first people I met when I moved here from Butler in 1995. There here are 2 words that remind me of Joe. They are ABSOLUTELY AND NOPE! s.a. Joe do you want to get a beer? ABSOLUTELY! Joe do you think we should stay a little longer at the pharmacy to get things cleaned up? NOPE! So Joe! JoeMo was and will forever be an all-time great. One of the nicest guys you'd ever meet. It was a privilege to have known him and to have him as a teammate. My condolences to his family. Enjoy that heavenly cup of beer while playing bocce. You will be missed.

My heart goes out to you, Jan and your family. Joe was always so kind to me. My prayers and thoughts are with you and I pray God will give you courage, comfort and peace.

Joe was a regular in our informal baseball games during the summer at Seneca Heights School and McKee Stadium. A great competitor and sportsman. Rest in peace, Joe. See you on the "Field of Dreams." Bring your glove!
