Was so surprised to hear of Joe’s passing. Had been looking forward to seeing him at last week’s Duquesne/Sheik reunion. We were in the same pharmacy class together. I will always remember Joe doing his “funky chicken/funky turkey “ imitations at the Sheik parties to the enjoyment of the entire crowd gathered around him and clapping.
You are all in our prayers as we are so sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry to hear of Joe´s passing. Although I did not know Joe well, our mothers, Gloria and Dolores, were the best of friends, and I often heard of his successes through them. Sending deepest condolences from my family to yours.

It was my good fortune that Joe was one of the first people I met when I moved here from Butler in 1995. There here are 2 words that remind me of Joe. They are
ABSOLUTELY AND NOPE! s.a. Joe do you want to get a beer? ABSOLUTELY! Joe do you think we should stay a little longer at the pharmacy to get things cleaned up? NOPE! So Joe! When I reach those pearly gates will you save me a seat at the bar? ABSOLUTELY! Rudy Mauro

Joe was a regular in our informal baseball games during the summer at Seneca Heights School and McKee Stadium. A great competitor and sportsman. Rest in peace, Joe. See you on the "Field of Dreams." Bring your glove!

A true gentleman in every sense of the word. The good Lord must have needed a top notch bocce player on his team. I will always cherish our nights with brother Eddie Mo playing the machines and listening to your stories. I am so thankful for all the laughs and great times with you. You will be sadly and deeply missed, my dear friend. God bless your family.

For about the last 17 years, yes, 17, I spent every Wednesday evening with Joe Mo. At the M&S Club, we played bocci in the summer, and cards in the winter. Joe really liked the M&S Club, and all the members really liked Joe. He was a great guy and will be missed. He already is. RIP my friend.

Joe was indeed a kind and good man. When I joined the M&S Bocce League without previously knowing him, he made me feel very welcome from the start. That was simply his nature.
Many good words are now being said about Joe, and they are all true. He will be sorely missed.

We often refer to long time M&S Bocce members as 'all time greats'.
In Joe's case that is REALLY true, both on and off the court.
He was a wonderful man and great friend.
Heaven's Bocce Team got a lot better.
Rest in peace, Joe Mo.
You will be missed!
