Kenneth Howard passed away on January 12, 2026 just shy of his 96th birthday. Kenny was born to Miller Howard and Nancy Grider who lived on Hunter Street in Norwood. He graduated from Norwood High School in 1948. Working at the Norwood Theatre, he caught the eye of his future wife, Juanita Werner Cain. They were married on February 3, 1951 at Evanston Baptist Church by Reverend Stanley Mathews with whom they went on to become founding and lifelong members of Kenwood Baptist Church.
After high school, Kenny worked for Ford Motor Company, regularly receiving letters and cufflinks for perfect attendance during his 50-year career. Devoted animal lovers, Kenny and Juanita cared for dozens of cats and dogs on their seven-acre property in Maineville, Ohio. They were generous supporters of all animal care organizations, from SPCA to donkey rescues. The couple traveled the world together, often taking their dogs along on domestic travel.
Kenny will be remembered for his love of the Lord Jesus Christ, his great devotion to his wife, Juanita, who preceded him in death three years ago, his dedication to excellence in his work, his kind and humble nature, and his fun sense of humor.
A funeral service will be held at Kenwood Baptist Church on Friday, January 16 at 10:30 AM, with visitation at 10:00 AM.
Memorial gifts may be made to Kenwood Baptist Church at 8341 Kenwood Road, 45236 or https://www.kenwoodbaptist.org/give/ .
