Tim and Tammy we are so sorry for the loss of your son Landen. Prayers for you and the rest of your family.

Words just aren't enough to express our sorrow for the grief you and all of Landon's friends and family are feeling at this time. The loss of his life and being with you now at this time is leaving such an empty feeling. You all have so many wonderful memories to carry you on to healing or at least some healing. Landon had so many interests and was so active and his love of cooking was such a wonderful gift to those around him. He will be missed. Know that you all are loved very much and we...

Inside and outside of work, Landon always took an extra moment to talk with me. His approchability and kindness truely stood out. It was wonderful to talk about our shared interest in plants and brewing. I am so glad to have know him.

Lisa and Family, I'm so very sorry for the loss of your beloved, Landon. I cannot imagine the heartbreak you feel. I'm lifting your family in prayer for the Lord to hold you every so close, to give you a peace and comfort.

Landon's Obituary

Landon Lewis Kovach, 28, passed away on Sunday, December 8th, 2024. He was born in Middletown, Ohio to his parents, Timothy Kovach and Tammy R. (nee King) Kovach.

Landon unselfishly devoted himself to his family, friends, and neighbors. Cherished husband to his wife, Lisa M. (nee Kamp) Kovach; twin brother of Leah (Austin) Tielke; grandson of Audrey Ealy and the late Michael and Verna Kovach; loving companion to his cats Finn, Max, Lucy, Lenny, and Sam.

Landon graduated from Edgewood High School in Trenton. He attended Wright State University and completed his bachelor's degree from Miami University in Oxford. His gifted brilliance and technical abilities earned him his career as a mechanical designer for Johnson & Johnson where he specialized in medical surgical design. He developed a couple of pending patents and was nominated for J&J MedTech’s “Innovator of the Year” award.

Even at his young age, Landon enjoyed a variety of interests including indie and folk music and baseball. He was an excellent cook and baker, and he perfected his steak and rustic bread methods.  He loved the outdoors, which included simple gardening projects, hiking, fly-fishing, and rock climbing adventures. Landon also was talented at drawing and creating his artistic portraits. Above all, we mourn the tremendous loss of loving heart and compassionate presence.
