Not sure what to say?

I have many memories of Mrs. Meyer. She was a very sweet lady and I always enjoyed talking with her at MND. I will always remember her beautiful smile. I'm so glad you chose a picture that I'd recognize. Sending love and prayers to her family during their time of grief.

I enjoyed our working relationship and personal friendship while working for many years with Margie at Mount Notre Dame. She was always so helpful and efficient, and she had a puckish sense of humor! I wish I had learned of her passing sooner so I could attend the services. Best wishes to Ron and Corinne going forward.

Grief can be so hard, but special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.

Corrine so sorry. My heart goes out to you and your Dad.

Margie's Obituary

Marjorie “Margie” Ann Meyer (nee Nunn), of Amberley Village, passed away peacefully at her home on March 5, 2026 at the age of 83. She was born on June 23, 1942. She is survived by her husband of 64 years Ronald F. Meyer, her daughter Corinne Jones and two grandchildren, Corey Jones and Tyler Jones. She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Anna Nunn.

Margie graduated from Mt. Notre Dame High School in 1960 and worked as a secretary at Reserve Life Insurance until her daughter was born in 1962. She became a stay-at-home mom until her daughter also entered Mt. Notre Dame High School at which time Margie began working at the school first in the cafeteria. When the position of school secretary opened up, she took that position and stayed until her retirement in June of 2000.

She loved animals. As a child she had a pet squirrel, a pet raccoon and chihuahua dogs. As an adult, she loved her pet poodle, “Pierre,” who returned her love many times over. She also loved to feed vanilla wafers to the squirrels and deer that came through her back yard each day. The squirrels and deer would come right up to the back porch door and wait patiently for her to come and hand them their cookies.

She was devoted to her family. Loved to take rides in the car and loved to go to rummage sales where she looked for cross stitch materials and floss. She was an avid and accomplished cross-stitcher for many years and produced beautiful work.

Visitation will be 5-7 PM on Wednesday, March 11th at Mihovk-Rosenacker Funeral Home, 10211 Plainfield Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45241. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 AM on Thursday, March 12th at St. John the Evangelist Parish, 7121 Plainfield Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45236. Interment will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Montgomery. A reception will follow in the Community Room at the funeral home until 2:30 PM.

In lieu of flowers, she would be appreciative of a donation to SPCA Cincinnati  (www.spcacincinnati.org) or Hospice of Cincinnati (www.hospiceofcincinnati.org) which helped to make her final days comfortable.
