Not sure what to say?

Ed and family, I am so saddened to hear of your loss of Marge. She was a beautiful lady inside and out. She was caring and kind to everyone around her. Ed having you and Marge volunteer with the students in the Esrly Identification Program. I was always so happy to see you both every Monday morning because I enjoyed your company and help for the students.
What a special bond you had with Marge being married 69 years. Absolutely amazing and endless love for each other.
Keeping you...

Larry, I never met your mother but as our career paths cross, I can honestly tell you I know your mother through you. You are an excellent individual and I know that some of that comes from your mother. I love you, my friend I am praying for you and the family, you have my number if you should happen to need me.

Deepest Sympathy

Marjorie's Obituary

Marjorie Rose Gassert (Jones), devoted wife of 69 years to Edward F Gassert, mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away at the age of 88 on February 11, 2026.

“Marge” was born in Cincinnati and raised in the Rossmoyne community. She had quick wit and a mind for accounting. She had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed her time with her friends in “The Red Hats”. It was her sense of art and creativity that led her to take up ceramics.  Starting in her basement with friends and family, she began to teach others to find their own creativity, later opening her own business in Evendale.  Her greatest contributions were as wife and mother.  Consistently attending events, sports, and activities for her children.  She was someone her family could go to for advice, comfort, and love, as she was always within reach when she was needed. She was a calming force in this chaotic world.

Marge was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Helen Jones, and her daughter Michelle Warncke.

Marge leaves behind her husband of 69 years Edward, brothers Robert and David Jones, sister Denise Blice, Marge’s children Yvonne Caudill and Larry Gassert, as well as three grandchildren, Sean, Amanda and Nichelle, and six great grandchildren, Frankie, Montgomery, Finnegan, Ryan, Jamie and Donnie.

Private memorial services for immediate family will be held. Friends wishing to honor Marge are invited to donate in her name to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital [www.stjude.org], or Hospice of Cincinnati [www.hospiceofcincinnati.org] who cared for her so faithfully on her final journey.
