Not sure what to say?

My heart stopped for a moment. It never occurred to me that when I went searching for my friend with the twinkling eyes and the most beautiful smile (that could truly light up a room) that I´d learn he had passed. We met on Long Island in the 90´s, I remember walking into the bar and being stopped dead in my tracks, what laughs we had, what moments we shared. We both had Toyota Supras, I loved his and he loved mine. Always kind and always gentle; ah Matt, I know you are there just up around...

I am so heartbroken to read this. I have been trying to call Matt for the last month or so and wondered why he hasnt called me back. We spoke every week and last we spoke he said something was going on and he d call me in a few....I am shocked and so sad. Rest in eternal peace my dear Matt. You will be sooooo missed. I love you. My thoughts are with you Bernie and to the family. Please get in touch with me.

I am so very sorry to hear of Matt´s passing; Matt and I became friends as teenagers working at Friendly´s in the 1980´s. I have always remembered his brilliant, warm smile and that indomitable spark of spirit. My condolences to all who loved him.

My name is Rocky´s I met Matt and Bernie in Webster. The were One of my plow customers. And it is a great loss he was a good friend very kind very friendly. A good-natured guy. He will be missed dearly by all of us RIP MATT You might be gone but you will never be forgotten my friend.

To Matt´s family, so sorry for your loss. I had the pleasure of meeting Matt in Webster. What a fun loving guy. Rest In Peace my friend.

My heart goes out to your partner, family and friends. I pray you are at peace.

Oh, Matt, my heart is broken. We never figured out how to get together, after all the phone calls and texts and plans that never came through. When I close my eyes I still see you at 18, in the driver's seat while we sit in the Burger King drive-thru on the way to school. You were one of the most important people in my teenage life, and I have never forgotten you and all the great times and talks and togetherness. I never will forget you. This will be the longest summer because there will be...
