I miss him dearly.

Phil was a kind and generous man who we were very lucky to have known and loved. We feel a loss and guilt inasmuch as we didn't see each other in the past several years; we regret that. However, we will remember him always as the good man he was who had some very bad luck and challenges he tried to conquer. That pains us a great deal. Phil McGoohan worked hard to boost his adopted hometown and State.

Thanks to him, his family and friends for Phil's efforts to improve the Wisconsin economy in his volunteer roles at Forward Wisconsin in the 1980's and 1990's and in his twenty-year stint on the Neighborhood House of Milwaukee Board and Honorary Boards. I adored and admired Phil. We were on the w.h.brady foundation board and worked together for many years while Elizabeth Brady Lurie was the chairman. We did charitable gifting to the Milwaukee area and we were influential in United States public policy.

I only met her once but I’ve always heard so many wonderful things about him.

Rest in Peace my friend. I'll always remember our coaching days.
