Shirley Arney

Shirley A. Arney (nee Hoff) passed away Sunday, June 8, 2025, at the age of 90. She was born to the late George and Carrie Hoff on February 7, 1935, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Shirley was the beloved wife of the late James W. “Jim” Arney; loving mother of Tim (Darlene) and Doug (Anna) Arney; cherished grandmother of Michele Arney, Kristin (Dustin) Lucas, Sam and Spencer Arney, and Sara (Connor) Meadows; and treasured great-grandmother of Anakin Roeglin. Shirley was an avid reader and a woman of deep faith. She enjoyed spending time captivated by a good book and participating in church activities. She will be missed by all blessed enough to have known her.

Visitation in her honor will take place on Thursday, June 12th from 12:00pm until time of Funeral Service at 2:00pm at Mihovk-Rosenacker Funeral Home, 10211 Plainfield Rd, Cincinnati, Ohio 45241. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati in Shirley’s name by following this link.
