Shirley Mae Snell

Shirley Mae Snell, age 83, passed away peacefully on January 13th, 2026. Born on September 6th, 1942, Shirley was the cherished daughter of the late Orville and Iva (nee Hargis) Phelps. In addition to her parents, Shirley is preceded in death by her brother Gary Phelps, daughter-in-law Chrystal Snell, as well as brother-in-laws; Gene Snell and Jim Richardson.                         

Shirley is survived by her beloved husband of 56 years, Jerry Snell.

Loving mother to Randy and daughter-in-law Heather Snell.

Sister of Elaine (nee Phelps) Railey, as well as sister-in-law to Glenda Richardson. 

Cherished grandmother to Zachary Snell.

Shirley also leaves behind nieces, nephews, cousins, as well as many dear friends. 

Visitation will take place Tuesday, January 20th, 2026, from 12:00pm until time of funeral service at 2:00pm, both at Mihovk-Rosenacker Funeral Home, 10211 Plainfield Rd., Cincinnati, Ohio, 45241. Burial will follow services at Rest Haven Memorial Park. Memorial contributions in Shirley's honor may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati.
