Not sure what to say?

Miss. Rousseve! What a gift to the education world and humanity. Miss Rousseve was my 11th grade English teacher at Loyola High School back in the 80s. She was without a doubt one of my favorite teachers at Loyola and of all time. While English was never my best or favorite subject (which Miss Rousseve clearly knew), she always made it interesting. I always looked forward to going to school when I knew I had Miss Rousseve that day. In addition, Miss Rousseve was simply a kind and wonderful...

She was a fantastic teacher that brought Shakespeare to life in the classroom. I still remember her passion and love for teaching at LHS. May she rest in peace!

One of the best teachers ever. Had us read Lord of the Rings in 9th grade. Life changing. So blessed to have known her.

Ms. Rousseve interviewed me for acceptance into Loyola High School from which I graduated in 1988. Thank you for that blessing!! She also introduced be to Shakespeare. I pray that faith and fond memories bring comfort to her family and friends. Rest in peace, Ms. Rousseve.

Her former St Bernard students remember her well. Thanks for all the hours you put into your calling.

1981...as a Sophomore at St Bernard HS...she was a bit intimidating. But her passion & fairness came through loud & clear. She would read us passages from Shakespeare & you could just feel her love for it. This little trip down memory lane has brought a huge smile to my face. God Speed Ms. Rousseve You never know whose lives you touch.

Sylvia was a favorite colleague of mine at Loyola. Every time I saw her, she made my day. An exceptional educator and lady. I will miss her.

It was a joy and honor to know you as an SNJM Associate. Thank you for the blessing. You will be missed.
