Virginia Lorene Crawford (nee Baker), 98, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 25, 2025, in Loveland, Ohio. She was born September 9, 1927, to the late Addie (nee Marcum) and John Baker in Cutshin, Kentucky. Lor was the beloved wife of the late Thomas L. Crawford; loving mother of Diana Rooks, Deleah (Dave) Custer, and the late: Thomas “Randy”, James “Roger”, Tim, and Terry Crawford; cherished grandmother of Tania Crawford, Trisha (Chris) Mosser, Tommy (Mandy) Runyan, Zach Custer, Matt (Ashley) Crawford, Eric Crawford, Adam Crawford, Justin Crawford, Danielle (Shane) Skelton, Tisha (Crawford) Thurman, Mandy Clark and numerous loving great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and dear sister of Ken Baker and the late: Eileen Craig, Forster Baker, Kathleen Baker, Florence Bowling, Evelyn Spurlock, and James “Pick” Baker. She is also survived by loving daughters-in-law: Hope, Connie, and Kim Crawford, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Lor's life was a testament to faith and grace. It was a life not only well-lived but deeply loved. The center of her world was her family, who she cherished as her greatest pride and joy. Facing her illness with unwavering courage, her focus remained on those she held dear, imparting the simple yet profound wisdom that will serve as her enduring legacy: “Be kind to each other.”
Visitation in her honor will take place on Friday, October 31st from 11:00am until time of Funeral Service at 12:00pm at Mihovk-Rosenacker Funeral Home, 10211 Plainfield Rd, Cincinnati, Ohio 45241. Interment will immediately follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park.
