Uncle Ward was an incredible Uncle. He and Auntie Sandy came to visit us many times in London. It was always such a highlight. Uncle Ward was so kind and caring and always took such an interest in what was going on in our lives. I always felt so loved when we had our deep chats.

I got to spend a few months at their home during my gap year which was such a precious time to make more memories. I can never forget how generous Uncle Ward was and what a family man was.

Ward is my brother n law ,but he was more than that . He was a friend who taught me to drive . Let me come to their house for the weekend , to go swimming . He was more than family . Always there helping , encouraging, loads of fun . My girls remember him coming over to London for Christmas holidays . We had fun and he was just a joy to be around . He loved life and his family . Ward and I were friends for over 30 years. We were able to go on many business trips together, as well as conferences. Ward was one of the most positive people I have known. Ward and Sandy “mama” made the perfect team. Ward truly loved his dogs, even though some drank beer and wine. Ward will be missed by many but the memories I have of Ward will continue to bring a smile to my face. Susan and I sending uplifting prayers to Sandy and the family.

It’s hard to say farewell to your oldest friends, that have been a part of your life and family for so many years. Ward was so blessed to have his family supporting him and visiting him so often. I know he loved and cherished everyone of them. We never spoke that he didn’t share a story about one or more of the Grandchildren.
