Swansea, Illinois - Arthur "Art" E. Boze, Jr., 77, of Swansea, IL, born on January 1, 1943 in East St. Louis, IL, passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2020 from a heart attack at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, IL.
Arthur was a retired bricklayer from Local #8 in Belleville, IL. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and enjoyed fast cars and later on in life began collecting antique cars. Arthur was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He attended Holy Angels grade school and East St. Louis high school. Arthur was a veteran of the armed forces.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur E. and Eugenia M. nee Boron Boze, Sr.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce E. Bose, nee Rampenthal; children, Artie (Nikki) Boze, III of Swansea, IL and Heather Helveston of Cape Coral, FL; four grandchildren, Alexandria, Clayton, Savannah and Kaylee; his brother, Robert (Patricia) Boze of Belleville, IL; his sister-in-law, Janet (Joe) Adams; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association.
