We shared order-in pizza with friends of Jude's prior to a concert in Williamstown. It comical that we were going to see the headliner Mahavishnu Orchestra and that the friends were going to see the lead-in. We listened to more Leo Kottke after that night.

We would sit at her kitchen table, sharing a cup of chamomile tea and oatmeal cookies, warm from the oven. In macramé hangers, plants took in the sun by the window. She gave me a little brass bell, ornate with etchings. I hung it from the mirror in my car. Fifty years on, still it hangs and rings sweetly. Her peace bell, she said.

My deepest condolences. I knew Jude from
Temple Anshe Amunim and she was a

I am so sorry to hear that Jude has passed on. What a wonderful lady. Always a smile and so cheerful to talk with. I took my very 1st quilt class from her many years ago. She was an amazing quilter. She will be missed by many.

My deepest sympathy to you at the loss of Jude.
Jude joined a group of us that knitted at Barnes & Noble. We so enjoyed her company. She did beautiful hand work. She added so much to our discussions. She will be missed.
