I came a little late to this but I knew Peter at Bard College and later as a neighbor in 39 East Second Street in Hoboken, where other Bardians lived. I lost touch with him many years ago but I have fond memories of him as an artist and a human being.

So humble a man. Even I knew little of his many accomplishments. Always in the present moment and frequently the source of mischief as well as righteous indignation followed at times by considerate social action.
Greatly loved.

I am so sorry for your loss. What a great man! My father and Peter were the best of friends. I met Peter when my father was battling with cancer, he was a godsend for my family. I was honored to have known him. Rest in peace.
