Kim Mangiardi-Sabin Obituary
Born in Pittsfield on June 19, 1963 the daughter of Ralph and Carol Sweet Mangiardi, she was a 1981 graduate of Taconic High School where she was President of her class. She later went on to earn a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Siena College.
Kim managed several women's clothing stores. When the Berkshire Mall opened, she was hired as manager of Steiger's Department Store which later became Filene's. She retired in 2004 due to her health.
She is survived by her husband, Ron Sabin, whom she married at St. Charles Church on May 26, 1991. Kim leaves her sisters: Pam Williams and Paula Silvano, both of Pittsfield, and her two sister in laws: Janie McCormick and Teresa Sabin of Richmond. She also leaves behind her Aunt Ellie Metcalfe of Vermont; her friend and caregiver, Maureen Brodeur and her lifelong friend, Diane Pannesco,. She will be dearly missed by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral Notice: Funeral services for Mrs. Kim M. Mangiardi-Sabin will be Thursday, March 23, 2017, at 6 p.m. at the Dwyer Funeral Home, 776 North St., Pittsfield MA, with the Rev. A. Peter Gregory, pastor of St. Charles Church, officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Calling hours at the funeral home will precede the service from 4 to 6 p.m.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, care of the Dwyer Funeral Home, in her memory.

To Paula and Pam, my prayers are with you and god bless you at this time. I will always remember when Kim came to Mercer school in grade 3, Miss Gunkler's class. So many years have gone by but our memories are precious. She was a great and courageous person. Sincerely, Maureen (Perkins) Phillips.

Ronnie, I am profoundly sorry to hear about the loss of your beautiful wife! I'll always remember her at Filenes Dept. store looking impeccable, dressed to the nines, but better than that, she always said hello with a huge smile on her face. She was a true gem. May she Rest In Peace .
