WEST, Dr. Maryanne Of Brighton, and Osterville, passed away on August 3, 2025. Beloved daughter of the late Kenneth and Mary (Gately) West. Dear sister of the late Paul West. Sister-in-law of Patricia (Sullivan) West of West Roxbury. Companion of Francis "Frank" O'Connor of West Roxbury. Aunt of Carolyn Golley and her husband, Gary, of West Roxbury, Timothy West and his wife, Allison, of Roslindale and Michael West of West Roxbury. Maryanne was a graduate of Boston College and Boston University, where she completed her Ph.D. A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, August 19, at 1pm, in St. Joseph Cemetery, 990 LaGrange St., West Roxbury. Maryanne and I were going through Breast Cancer and I met her at Church. I will miss her a lot. She fought as hard as she could. Frank and I went to Visiting hours at Beth Israel Deaconess and we stood by her as she went Home to Glory.
