Very sorry for the loss. It's tough losing a loved one. Yet, death was not part of God's original purpose for mankind. The first couple, Adam and Eve, had the opportunity to manifest their love and loyalty. They were not to eat from a particular tree for In the day [they] eat from it [they] will positively die. (Genesis 2:17) In this way, imperfection and death were introduced into the human family.

I am truly sorry for your loss. Soon, Almighty God promise's an end to all suffering. God's Word foretells:"[God]will wipe out every tear from our eyes and death will be no more, neither mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore." What a wonderful expectation.
