John and Family,

I was deeply saddened to come across the notice of Laura's passing in August of 2013. I worked with Laura many years ago at Boston University and we enjoyed many luncheons and social occasions together. We also traveled to Florida when we were about 20 years old. I remember her family home in Belmont on Baker St. and staying overnight once in a while. We had many good times and I will always remember her great sense of humor and easy going ways. I remember when she met you John and being invited to your wedding. I remember Laura's first born and visiting with her to see the new baby. She was such a natural and loving mother. We lost touch when our lives changed and she was raising her children and I was working full time for an airline and doing a bit of traveling. Good memories of a very special lady!

JOHN AND FAMILY,

WE ARE SHOCKED AND SADDENED AT LAURA'S PASSING. WE ONLY MET ONCE OR TWICE WHEN SHE AND MY COUSIN CAME TO FL. FOR A VISIT. OVER THE YEARS WE SPOKE ON THE PHONE AND WERE ALWAYS LAUGHING ABOUT ONE THING OR ANOTHER. THE MOST MEMORABLE CONVERSATION WAS JUST BEFORE SHE WENT FOR HER CANCER SURGERY. SHE WAS MORE WORRIED ABOUT JOHN THAN HERSELF AND ASKED ME TO STAY IN TOUCH WITH HIM IN CASE SOMETHING WENT WRONG. SHE WAS A SWEET LOVING AND BRAVE PERSON AND WILL BE MISSED BY ALL. OUR PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU ALL AND WE ARE SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS.

My love and sadness are with Laura's family. As we all know Laura was a beautiful person inside and out. I will miss her but always remember her kindness, quick wit, smile, and most of all her laugh. She will forever be in everyone of my brush strokes.
