DiMaggio, Frank L. Jr. Of Lynn, March 23, 2014, age 71, son of the late frank and Mary (Blanco) DiMaggio Sr., brother of Anthony DiMaggio and his wife Christine of Lynn, uncle of Gia Covalucci Doherty and her children Kiera and Ella, of Lynnfield, companion of Terri Coffill, of Lynn. Funeral on Friday at 9:30am from the Solimine Funeral Home, 426 Broadway (Rte 129), LYNN, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30am in St. Mary's Church. Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hour's Thursday 4pm-8pm. Donations in his memory may be made to the Massachusetts Down Syndrome Congress, 20 Burlington Mall Road, Suite 261, Burlington, MA 01803. Directions and guestbook at www.solimine.com

I am so sorry to read just now of Mr.DiMaggio. I am pretty sure this is the same man i had as a teacher years ago in Kemtucky. I remember him as being very patient and funny. Prayers for his family.

More than an uncle you were also my friend with a heart of gold. We are so sorry to hear the news of Frank's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with Frank's family at this sad time. Don and I were friends of Frank during our teen years. wow! so long ago. He was in our wedding 51 years ago and was the life of the party. We have many fond memories of him and he will be sadly be missed by all who knew him. Rest in peace.
