We have all been blessed by Fran's beautiful legacy of grace and hospitality and generosity of spirit. May God comfort and bless you all during this time of loss.
God promises that we will be fully reunited with our loved ones someday in heaven. And, knowing Franny, we will be greeted warmly and welcomed with a nice, hot cup of tea!
Until that day, let's try our best to make her proud, finding joy in the simple things and reaching out to help and support one another.
That has always seemed to be the Haley way, and that is the best tribute a Mother could ever ask for.

Fran always greeted me with a warm smile, a hug, and her fond name for me,"Mikeydo! From the time I was a little boy running around Greenway Circle, to bringing my young daughters and then my grandkids over to visit...Fran was the unwavering force of kindness and unconditional love. When you handed Fran a baby, she would light up! She was a real kid lover.
Always thrilled to see me. Always a welcome chair at the table. Always time for me.
I would spend countless days at the Haley house, following Bill around as he Built, Dug, Grew, Cut, Rebuilt...just about anything! And the inevitable smell of Fran's Tool House Cookies would be everywhere. Fran created a Home you loved to be at.
It was important to me, that my Daughters had as sense of this special woman. A woman who cared for me, nurtured me, and always made me feel special.
Fran had a straightforward approach to life, never needing fancy things. Her greatest joy was sitting around her kitchen table. She loved her Home.
Fran's gift was the greatest, most profound, yet simplest of all...she genuinely gave of herself and loved others.
I will always be grateful and remember the feeling of being in Fran's loving orbit.
I love you Fran,
Mikeydo

It is with a heavy heart that we say good-bye to Fran. She was a very special lady. Always ready for a visit from us kids and then our grandkids.

Fran never strayed far from 19 Greenway Circle and was so very content with her ever so simple life. She showed us how little you need in this world we live in, and yet how filled her life was because of family and friends.

This is the legacy she leaves behind that we should all become a part of. To enjoy life, live simple and love lots.

To Teresa, Tom, Claire and Family, treasure all the wonderful memories your mom gave to you. For that is the gift she left you.

It is with a heavy heart that I say goodbye to my beloved mother-in-law. I was priveledged to have been welcome into her and her family's life when I was 17 years old and I learned so much from her. She opened her heart and her home to so many always looking for and seeing the good in everyone. A visit and a cup of tea with Franny always lifted your spirits and set you back on track. She and Bill worked hard and sacrificed for their children's and grandchildren's benefit and they provided all of us with many, many happy times. Those memories will sustain us all as we carry on. I love you Franny and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for adopting me into your family.

My beautiful godmother, this world was blessed to have you for 94 yrs and I for 49 of them. From day 1 of my life you had taken me under your wing and treated me like your 4th child with unconditional love. I wouldn't even begin to know how to thank you though I've told you many, many times over our heart to heart talks. My entire life is filled w more memories than I could ever begin or end to share. You were my guardian angel on earth and now from up above. Please give Whimpy a great big huh and kiss and tell him I miss and love him. I will miss you beyond words. Forever in my heart.

Well Franny, after 94 years we finally have to say goodbye. As Caryl always said, your Mom was the mother everyone wishes they had.
You sacrificed everything to give us what we needed. You were always so content with your life, never chasing monetary things but just thrilled to be close to your family. We can never forget the love you shared with us and everyone who walked through your door. If you look up Christian in the dictionary, there should be a picture of you. Thank you for always being there for us, for loving us, nursing us to health and helping us whenever we needed it. 19 Greenway will always be remembered as the place everyone knew they could get sound advice, a non-judgmental opinion, lots of love and great cookies!

You are the Mom everyone wishes they had. Your love was 100% genuine and your generosity and spirit will live on through us forever.
Say high to Smokey Ash, your Mom and Dad and all your brothers for us! Hopefully there will come a time we can meet again.

Love, Tommy

Fran was a very special lady. So many good memories. 40+ years and still can recall her chocolate chip cookies. She was fortunate to have her family close. Great life reaching 94. It will be hard to visit Stoneham and not be able to visit her at 19 Greenway. My condolences to Theresa, Claire, Tom and your extended families. Your Mom was the best.
