ANDRE SIGOURNEY Obituary

SIGOURNEY, Andre R. Of Nahant, Mass. died on February 6, 2021 at the age of 93. He was a lifelong resident of Nahant educated at the Dexter School, Milton Academy, Harvard College and Harvard Law School. He was particularly proud of his wrestling career at Milton and his service in the Marines at the end of World War II. In the 1960's, he served for 8 years as the Representative from East Lynn and Nahant at the General Court in Boston and in the 1970's he served as the Supervisor of Public Records. Andre's parents gave him a great appreciation of reading which he enjoyed all his life. He was known for his swimming, sailing and fly-fishing. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Jean Sigourney, his four children and nine grandchildren. There are no services planned. If you want to honor his life, just think kindly of him. It is the best we can do for each other.
